HI, I'M LIZZY.
I'm here to inspire you to take control of your health, learn what works for your body and have fun along the way. I'm based in Melbourne, Australia, and am excited to share with you my personal exploration of health, fitness and a passion for living a BIG life. To me, creating "optimal" health is about tweaking lifestyle factors, understanding your stress load and getting back to balance.
This website is a platform for me to share whole-food based recipes, inspiration and to collaborate with others in the areas of performance, health and wellbeing. I provide both face-to-face and online (via Skype) consultations and group seminars to assist you or your group to achieve optimal health through nutritional support and by addressing the holistic lifestyle factors that may be holding you back.
You can feel your absolute BEST through a holistic approach that addresses the kitchen, the weights room, natural movement, your thoughts and how you manage stress. There is no time like the present to get back to balance and to start learning about what makes you tick!
Lizzy was born in Santa Cruz, California, and grew up in New Zealand from the age of two. She's always been involved in sport and fitness, from competitive swimming to triathlon. Lizzy moved to Australia to study Medicine at university, but soon discovered her passion for preventative and integrated health and nutrition rather than a band-aid approach to illness and disease. Lizzy transitioned into a degree in Exercise Science and has since worked with a range of both recreational and elite athletes to educate them about real-food nutrition, lifestyle and performance.
Lizzy is a qualified nutrition coach, speaker and published author. She uses a holistic approach with her clients for improved sleep, weight loss, performance gains, decreased stress and improved hormonal balance.
When not coaching classes at the gym that she owns with her brother, Workshop 3101, Lizzy finds balance by escaping the city to ride bikes, go surfing, fly fishing, rock climbing and hiking. To bring a little yin to her weekly yang, she loves yoga, cooking and reading.
